Pictures, Pictures...

I love taking pictures of people, and I've been doing a lot of that lately, but there's nothing more fun and satisfying than just taking some pretty shots of flowers just for the satisfaction that it brings. When you take pictures for people it feels a little like work because you know the outcome will be judged and scrutinized - people have expectations, you know? But a flower doesn't have expectations, and the outcome is simply for my pleasure alone.

I took these this afternoon, and they're not perfect, but they make me smile. And for this shoot that's all that matters.

What is that? I love that pic! LOVELY! Looks like an azalea, am I right? I gotta get it whatever it is!

Very pretty. That's not an azalea. I would guess some type of lily, but I don't know a lot about flowers.

OK, Julia's right, it's not an azalea. I really haven't a clue what it is to be honest. I've never even seen one in the ground - only in vases this time of year. I bought these from the grocery store and put them on my table as a center piece.
