Don't enter it, really, you don't want to enter this. Who wants this crummy bag anyway?? Not me! No way!! (Am I a good liar?)

It's Time!
This morning I had two active pills left in my pack. This afternoon I flushed them. Let the baby making begin! With my first two someone dropped a hat and I was pregnant... We'll see what happens this go around!
Now onto an easy and yummy banana muffin recipe. I'll never let a banana go bad again!
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 medium to large bananas
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup melted butter
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease muffin pan or use liners. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
2. Combine bananas, sugar, egg and melted butter in a large bowl. Fold in flour mixture until smooth. Scoop into muffin cups.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or when muffins spring back when lightly tapped.
Makes 12 muffins - I'd double the recipe if I were you!

I took this shot of a picture out of our wedding album. That's why it looks funny, but I just wanted to share. A lot has happened over the past 8 years, and just think, it's only just begun! I love this man more every day!

Pretty Bird!
I went with a friend to Magnolia Gardens to take pictures of her three children today. It was pretty exhausting because my kids got to tag along, and Stephen did nothing but complain about being tired the whole time. My Stephen. Anyway, I did get some good shots though.
The best part was watching the kids chase this peacock. this guy wasn't scared of a thing! Christian fed him corn chips and almost got close enough to touch him.
My grandfather had peacocks when I was growing up. They're such beautiful birds. This one in particular was really putting on a show. Men are such show-offs.

It's official!
We're going to try for another BABY!! :-)
I'm excited, nervous and a bit anxious.
On another note, my brother's friend in ICU is hanging in there. He's still unconscious, but the brain swelling has gone down. He's needing a little more oxygen though. Thank you for remembering him. The setting-up is tonight for his friend that passed away in the accident. My brother is taking his loss very hard. I don't think I've ever seem him so broken-hearted. Please, remember him as well.
God is so good. He never ceases to amaze me.
I hope everyone is having a happy Easter.
Take care everyone. I hope to be posting lots of good news soon...

Sad day...
My brother lost his best friend in a car accident last night. His other friend was in the car as well, and he's alive but in critical condition. My heart is very heavy. Please remember these families, and pray that my brother's friend in critical condition will be alright. I'll update.

Happy Anniversary!
8 years and counting!
I love you Mike Mizell!!
I do plan on adding a picture of us from 8 years ago, but at the moment I'm just too lazy.

Pictures, Pictures...
I love taking pictures of people, and I've been doing a lot of that lately, but there's nothing more fun and satisfying than just taking some pretty shots of flowers just for the satisfaction that it brings. When you take pictures for people it feels a little like work because you know the outcome will be judged and scrutinized - people have expectations, you know? But a flower doesn't have expectations, and the outcome is simply for my pleasure alone.
I took these this afternoon, and they're not perfect, but they make me smile. And for this shoot that's all that matters.

Just a thought...
You know you have a close friend when some of her breast milk is stored in your freezer. ;-)
