Well, it seems I've recently discovered a lot of free time on my hands. I'm finished with my Associates and my photography certification, the kids are out of school for the summer and now that we're not going to have another baby I don't have to think about planning for that. So what am I left with? A lot of free time. That's a good thing. I'm not lazy, not one bit, but this is going to be pretty nice. I haven't had time like this on my hands for years. I'm not making any commitments at least until the fall.
The kids had an end-of-the-year school program last night... I. forgot. My camera. What?! I could kick myself. They were so darn cute. Stephen's class did a patriotic theme, and Christian's dressed up like sailors and did row, row, row your boat. Then we went out for food and ice cream. It was good time.
Now we're off to Gungy's for pancakes. Nice. :-)

Hiding the Swingset - Day one
So far so good. Construction was underway at 10:00 this morning. I managed to get the kids out of the house and to my Gungy's before they started asking too many questions. We stayed out all day. We went to the mall with my mom to just kill time. Stephen went home with mom to spend the night, and Christian came home and took a nap. While he was napping I covered the windows with paper and fleece material. I think that should do the trick. Construction will begin again at 9:00 in the morning. I WILL keep this thing a secret until Christmas morning if it's the last thing I do.

Gungy

This is my little one and my grandmother-the one, the only, Gungy. When I was a baby she wanted me to call her grandma. Well, at the tender age of about 1 all I could manage to say was "Gungy". Close enough! :-) It stuck. She's been affectionately know to everyone she knows as "Gungy" ever since! I mentioned her in a separate post a few days ago and just wanted to add a visual.
Side note: Don't I have an adorable baby? A bit proud...
